  • Regular registration covers everything: all four days technical programs (invited talks, tutorials, workshops, parallel sessions for accepted papers presentation, industry/demo session, etc. for WI’08 and IAT’08), social program (reception and banquet (excluding students)), coffee breaks, as well as CD-ROM proceedings of main conferences and workshops.
  • (*) All registration fees include 10% GST from Australian Government. The conference organizers must transfer the GST component to government and cannot keep the GST for the use of the conferences.
  • (**) Student registration:
    1. The student registration does NOT cover banquet.
    2. Students must submit a verification letter of full-time status from the department head. Please FAX or mail the verification letter to the address below.
  • (***) The deadline for extra papers and/or extra pages is Sept 30, 2008.

  • Notes for Author registration:

    1. For paper authors, to include your papers in the program as well as in the proceedings, at least one author of your papers must plan to attend the conference and pay the regular (member or non-member) registration fees.
    2. If you have a paper accepted, please note that your paper will not be included in the conference proceedings unless at least one (co-)author registers by Sept 30, 2008. The deadline for extra papers and extra pages is also due by Sept 30, 2008.
    3. Authors who have two or more papers accepted by WI-IAT'08 need only register once, however there is a AU$220 charge for each extra paper to help defray the cost of printing. As long as one author of each paper registers for the conference (i.e., one non-student registration per paper), their registration covers the cost and the extra paper charge does not apply.
    4. Authors whose papers (including extra papers) have extra pages (as specified in the acceptance letter) must pay an additional AU$110 for each extra page to help cover the added cost of printing.
    5. Vegetarian options available if advance notice is given.

For participants using Visa and MasterCard for the payment, Smartlink Solution Pty Ltd will charge the Grand Total amount for the payment of the services. Please use the Online Registration System to register and pay the registration fees.

2 Telegraphic Transfer

For participants using telegraphic transfer, please use the Online Registration System to register your information first, the system will generate your Order_ID, please keep this Order_ID and then pay AUD by Telegraphic Transfer. When you transfer the registration fees to the conference, please write your Order_ID, your Paper_ID if you have, your registered email account and your name in your transfer note. Otherwise, your registration fees might not be recorded properly. Please credit to the following bank account:

Refund policy

For the authors, the registration fees are not refundable.

For other registrants, you can get 100% refund by reducing $100 processing fees before October 15, 2008.. You can get 50% refund by reducing $100 processing fees before November 15, 2008. No refund after November 15, 2008.
